I made some similar river sections on some scraps of masonite or some sort of hardboard in the '80's, they were done for one particular game but ended up being used frequently for decades. There's something compelling about the Warhammer Empire as a background to a late medieval/renaissance army, and as you say you can still use it for historical games. I did the same thing in 15mm a long time ago and finding (and converting) figures was one of the biggest challenges - and the best part tbh. It's a not just a confidence booster, it's a momentum builder. I feel like painting, as someone once said, is 90% perspiration and 10% inspiration. If you can just get yourself moving, it means a lot. I recently taught myself a speed painting method just for this reason, and as a result I finished a number of things have been sitting in my pile of shame for years 🙂Allison M.https://www.blogger.com/profile/08362700513221195102noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1607014156859178358.post-16421547553243572192023-12-10T09:21:23.441+00:002023-12-10T09:21:23.441+00:00Oh yes, I think we all go there from time to time,...Oh yes, I think we all go there from time to time, doing something completely different works best for meMike Petershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17511196774662845285noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1607014156859178358.post-5842075431369088042023-12-09T13:17:57.579+00:002023-12-09T13:17:57.579+00:00Equally dangerous!Equally dangerous!Carolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17068889968857575433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1607014156859178358.post-11584512697364617102023-12-09T12:59:48.384+00:002023-12-09T12:59:48.384+00:00Nice.
